Festival of Trees 2022
Andy Fedore led the design team of Rani Murali, Sharon Davidhizar, and Sue Konvolinka, using collected materials from nature that signify the work of our club. The tree needed to be ready for the special reveal Friday evening, November 18, 2022 from 6-8pm at AmeriServ Bank, downtown Johnstown.
Andy adds material to the tree skirt.
Rani, Sharon and Andy work on adding nature materials to complete the design. Sue is busy sweeping up out of frame.
A closeup of dried materials used: hydrangaes, dusty miller, fringed willowherb, teasel, coneflower, rhododrendon, arborvitae, various tree leaves, pussy willow and red osier dogwood branches. Red berries at the top and a splash at the bottom left side complete the design.
Finished tree. Chicken wire lining the bottom of the tree allows for the all natural tree skirt.
